About the Role
We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join a growing manufacturing company that produces custom pallets and crates. This role supports the accounting team by managing daily financial tasks and ensuring smooth operations across multiple locations. Job Description
As an Accounting Assistant, you will:

• Perform routine data entry for accounting records, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) .
• Create purchase orders and assist with billing processes.
• Review invoices and billing statements for accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Distribute accounting reports as directed.
• Assist with clerical tasks such as answering phones and mail distribution.
• Support payroll activities after training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn accounting software (Spectrum by Trimble).
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
• Ability to work onsite in Watkins, MN.

Preferred:

• Experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable (training provided for the other side).
• Bookkeeping or accounting coursework.
• Familiarity with Spectrum or other accounting systems.
