Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team and support the Club’s daily financial operations.

Position Overview The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for supporting the accounting department in all areas of financial processing and reporting. This includes handling accounts payable, processing payroll, onboarding new employees, and assisting with general accounting tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and capable of maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and pay vendor invoices accurately and on schedule
• Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for all employees
• Manage new employee onboarding, including payroll and benefits setup
• Assist with general accounting and financial reporting
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate records
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Communicate professionally with vendors, staff, and management

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or payroll preferred
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
