Medical Receptionist (Part-Time) - Korean Speaking a Plus

Position: Medical Receptionist (Part-Time - Flexible Schedule).

Location: Edison, New Jersey.

Practice: Established, Family-Oriented Gastroenterology Practice.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a compassionate, hard-working, and patient-focused medical receptionist. We are looking for a reliable individual with excellent communication skills to be the welcoming voice and face of our office in Edison, NJ. This is a flexible part-time opportunity where you will play a crucial role as the first point of contact, ensuring a positive and caring experience for all our patients.

What We're Looking For:

• REQUIRED: Excellent communication skills, clarity, and fluency in English.
• Preferred: Korean language skills (verbal fluency is a strong advantage).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills —warmth, kindness, and patience are essential
• Strong multitasking abilities to handle various front desk responsibilities.
• Professional telephone manner with a genuinely caring tone.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain composure in busy situations.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and record-keeping.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greeting patients with genuine warmth and kindness (Korean language ability may be utilized to assist specific patients).
• Managing appointment scheduling and confirmations.
• Answering phones promptly and professionally.
• Handling patient check-in and check-out.
• Processing paperwork and maintaining patient records.
• Coordinating with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Answering basic patient inquiries.
• Creating a welcoming environment for everyone who enters our practice.
