Senior Product Manager, Search Intent

We’re building the next-generation lodging search experience used by millions across Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo. We’re looking for a strategic and collaborative Senior Product Manager to shape how travelers express intent and discover the right stay.

In this role, you will:

  • Translate AI and ML capabilities into intuitive, trustworthy, and delightful experiences for travelers.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers for Query Understanding and Semantic Search to shape and deliver the AI Search strategy.
  • Define and deliver configurable UX patterns and frameworks that support high-quality, differentiated search experiences across multiple brands.
  • Partner with UX design and research to validate usability and desirability of search experiences.
  • Drive platform scalability and flexibility, enabling brand-level customization without bespoke development.
  • Stay on top of industry trends in AI search, UX, personalization, and conversational interfaces and use that knowledge to spark innovation.
  • Advocate for technical excellence and responsible AI practices in user-facing experiences.
  • Influence product strategy and investment decisions based on business impact, experience quality, and platform leverage.
  • Build clear requirements in ambiguous and complex scenarios requiring negotiation across multiple teams.
  • Demonstrate ability to align and influence stakeholders beyond the product team and positively impact department-level strategy.
  • Mentor more junior product managers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with expertise in consumer-facing UX and 2-sided marketplaces.
  • Direct experience with AI-driven features and their impact on user expectations.
  • Proven track record driving product vision, influencing cross-functional teams, and driving measurable outcomes in ambiguous environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong collaboration skills with UX design, research, engineering, and data analytics.
  • Strong data fluency and ability to interpret behavioral metrics.
  • Insatiable curiosity to learn about users and what makes them tick.
